C.E. Doyle LLC Employees Receive ACI Tilt-Up Supervisor Certification at the Con/Steel Conference 2001

C.E. Doyle LLC and Doyle Contractors were represented by three employees at this years Con/Steel Conference held April 19-21 in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Forman Dean Gassner, Project Manager Don Doyle, and Project Engineer Craig Olson, while in attendance, passed the tilt-up supervisors certification exam administered by the American Concrete Institute.

In addition to passing the exam, each candidate must have a minimum of five years or 7500 hours of verifiable construction experience. Three of the five years or 4500 hours must be experience in tilt-up construction. Within the three year period, the candidate must have 200 hours of experience in each of the following specific areas:

  • Safety
  • Plan Reading
  • Scheduling
  • Site Prep & Foundations
  • Slabs on Grade
  • Layout
  • Forming
  • Placement & Properties
  • Erection
  • Structural Systems
Dean, next year will be celebrating his 15 year anniversary with the company. Don has 8 years, and Craig has over 11 years working for C.E. Doyle.
